This cozy, little corner is a place where I can simply share the thoughts and ponderings that wonder through my mind. Nothing fancy or glamorous - more like an old leather journal with ink stained pages full of words, and a few faded photographs that grow fonder with time. I'm not defined by what I do, but what Christ has done for me. I photograph, go on adventures, find beauty in the little things, love on kids, drink way too much coffee, jot things down in journals, and strive to live a life that is glorifying to my Savior. I'm Rebekah, and it is a pleasure to have you join me on this journey.

fernweh

Fernweh (pronounced fairn-vay) is a German word which is defined in English as "an ache for distant places; the crave for travel." I love to travel, to see new places and meet new people, but there's more to it than just that. You see, as a Christian, I'm on a grand adventure full of wonder and excitement. In my heart there is a craving for something that nothing in this world can satisfy. So I'm learning the art of fernweh - living life to the fullest in the adventures that God takes me on, yet knowing in my heart that this world is not my final destination.
